The San Juan River is the mythical history of Central America and, especially, of Nicaraguan nationality. A series of events from the conquest of America to the search for "Drainage of the Mar Dulce" by the Caribbean Sea, creating a trade route to Europe, and countless fascinating stories of pirates (Morgan, Jackman, Dampiere ... ), the idea of permanent communication between the Atlantic and Pacific Transit Route, and, especially, its natural beauty. All these elements make the Rio San Juan special and unique experience.
Navigating Río San Juan reach El Castillo, a nice little village of colorful, contains Fortaleza of Inmaculada Concepción. The set of El Castillo, the rapids of the Rio San Juan and the forest make it one of the most beautiful places in Central America and, especially, of Nicaragua.
