Leon is the most colonial city in the whole of Central America. It is an austere, university and monumental city.
In Leon, we propose a big walk where we could find the 17 colonial churches, the biggest and one of the most beautiful cathedral in the whole Central America, the Recoleccion’s Church, the Merced, San Francisco, the San Pedros’ Chapel, and others places.
In this route there is Leon Viejo’s ruin, an area declared a World Heritage site in 2001 by UNESCO.
Then we will visit the “Hervideros de San Jacinto” which is a boiling area from Telica’s Volcano. In the same area, we will visit the Cerro Negro Volcano.
