CANTERA

CANTERA is a Nicaraguan non-governmental organization. It is humanitarian, non-profit and has its own legal personality. CANTERA is developing the popular areas of the countryside and cities.  

CANTERA was founded in 1988 and is a member of Central American Coordination of Popular Saddlebag Education; the Council for Education of Adults in Latin American (CEAAL); and the federation of non-governmental organizations in Nicaragua. It is also involved in diverse national and regional networks, which are connected with different programmes which take part in CANTERA’s centre.
